Sample Solution - Core Supervisory Skills

Core Supervisory Skills

Once employees are promoted into management positions involving more authority and greater responsibilities, questions such as, “Now what do I do?” and, “How do I do it?” are often asked.

New supervisors face different pressures in terms of job responsibilities, the need for increased productivity and the needs of their staff.

In many cases, overwhelmed by so many more responsibilities, new supervisors work more effectively with accelerated training that focuses on understanding the various learning and personality styles. This aids in the communication and learning process of team players, developing ‘team building' strategies as well as learning to deal with new stresses of the job.

New supervisors may possess great technical abilities but generally still need training to adapt to their new role. In addition to what your organization may request, our supervisory course teaches the following outcomes; What's my role?, Understanding Individual Learning Styles, Creating the Right Workplace (team skills, negotiations, collaboration), Fundamental Coaching Skills, Motivation and Retention of Employees, Meetings and Stress Management.
